Chapter 20
Her pupils contracted, and her face instantly turned cold.
Did you want to sell her?
It seems that the plan was going to be advanced.
One morning, Evelyn was filled with low pressure all over her body.
Reed was puzzled on the side, something was wrong, he was fine just yesterday.
As soon as it was noon, I saw her walking out of the company with a bag in hand, full of energy.
He hurriedly caught up.
Evelyn arrived at the King Restaurant and, as soon as she looked up, she saw a middle–aged man
with a fat head and big ears sitting at table number 15.
She sat down in her high heels and could feel the greasy and disgusting gaze from across the table
sweeping down.
Goosebumps instantly appeared all over my body.
But for the sake of the plan, we had to endure.
Evelyn forced a stiff smile and asked, “Are you Mr. Torres?”
“Hello, Ms. Gomez.”
Evelyn just wanted to quickly resolve the matter and went straight to the point, asking, “Has my
mother told you about my situation?”
“Spoken, Ms. Gomez was even more beautiful than the legend.” The person opposite chuckled,
their smile squeezing their features together, appearing a bit creepy.
“Well, I owed 1,670,000 dollars in debt, can you help me pay it off?”
A heavy blow was struck, freezing the smile on the person’s face across from me.
Evelyn sneered, “It seems like my mom didn’t explain the situation to you clearly. Those people
wouldn’t stop until they got the money. They wouldn’t even hesitate to harm you if they
accidentally got in their way.“,
Pausing for a moment, I saw the person across from me break out in a cold sweat and continued speaking slowly, “They only gave me three days, otherwise…”

The man wiped his forehead with a tissue, but before his seat could even warm up, he stood up.
“Ms. Gomez, I have something to attend to at home, so I’ll leave first,” he said, and then disappeared in a flash.
This person looked fat, but ran quite fast.
After paying the bill, Evelyn walked over to another table and tapped on it.
Reed obediently showed his face under the menu.
“Tracking me?” Evelyn chuckled, crossing her arms.
Reed pretended to be calm and said, “No, I’m worried about you. Since you’re here, why don’t you
sit down and have a meal?”
Evelyn shrugged and sat down.
During the meal, Reed hesitated to speak, and Evelyn put down her fork and glanced at him, saying, “Go ahead, don’t hold it in.”
Reed cleared his throat and carefully said, “If you’re short on money, I can help.” His attitude was sincere, as if taking care of Evelyn’s self–esteem, and he added,. “Consider it as me lending it to
you.”
“The kind that doesn’t need to be returned?” Evelyn took a bite of her food and smiled.
Reed’s eyes lit up again, and he quickly nodded, afraid that the person would regret it.
If there was a tail, it would probably be wagging by now.
Evelyn pursed her lips, almost unable to hold back her laughter, “Who rushes to give money?”
“I, I just love it,” the rising tone finally made Evelyn burst into laughter.
She waved her hand and said, “Don’t worry, I did it to deal with them. Speaking of which, I still need your help.”
Reed understood and inwardly sighed at missing an opportunity.
The two of them discussed for a long time.
When I came out, it was already close to two o’clock.
Reed answered the phone and hung up with two “uh–huh” sounds.
“There was a charity auction in the evening, would you go with me?”

Evelyn nodded and was about to leave when Reed stopped her with a hand.
“This is your first appearance as a manager, so it needs to be grand.” Saying that, he pulled Evelyn
towards the business district.
The two of them arrived at the high–end luxury dress store, and Evelyn exclaimed, “There’s no need to exaggerate, right?”
Reed smiled mysteriously, hiding his talents and fame.
After several hours of whirling, Evelyn felt dizzy.
After waiting for a long time, she was almost moved to tears when she finally heard the words “It’s
done.”
Reed casually sipped champagne, waiting for Evelyn to appear.
“I am fine now,” came the familiar voice.
He lifted his gaze and froze.
