Evelyn nodded and instinctively replied, “He was fine.”
Reed’s mother’s expression became excited, and she leaned forward, “So, what do you think about- being a boyfriend?”

Reed drove her home and quickly arrived downstairs at Evelyn’s building.
Evelyn slowly unbuckled her seatbelt and turned her head to give Reed a deep look.
“Reed, I was lacking a boyfriend.”
