It has been several days since the car accident.

Isabel ran past Evelyn, her face flushed, and lied without changing her expression.
Martin’s eyes showed a trace of displeasure, and his cold voice was much lower than before as he said, “Why did you hit yourself?”
Upon hearing these words, Isabel’s lips trembled, unsure of what to say, and she stood frozen in place.
