Chapter 4
After recovering from her illness, Ivy’s first task was to compile all the expenses the Archer family had incurred on her over the years.
She held the card, sat in front of the table, and listed all the expenses of the past ten years.
From tuition fees to expenses on various daily necessities, the total amount was thirty million.
The inheritance and old house that Dad left behind were worth a total of over twenty million dollars. In addition, she has saved quite a bit over the years through part–time jobs and frugal studying. In the end, she still lacked over one hundred thousand dollars in her bank account.
It seems that before leaving, she had to find something to do and make up the remaining money.
Ivy studied photography and, with this idea in mind, she posted photography job information online.
Soon, seven or eight customers came to the door, some for wedding photo shoots and others for graduation photos.
She followed the instructions faithfully, working from morning till night every day, so exhausted that she could hardly stand up straight, but without any complaints.
Because her mother had told her that Rod’s father had already divorced before he met her, but he had just not made it public.
From beginning to end, her mother and Rod’s father were in a normal relationship and then got married.
The mother and daughter never coveted the wealth of the Archer family.
She had planned to leave, but she didn’t want Rod to continue misunderstanding her mother, so she decided to repay the money.
After working hard for five or six days, Ivy managed to save over thirty thousand dollars.
She was getting anxious about the slow progress when suddenly a big order came in.
An employer hired her to help take a set of birthday photos at a birthday banquet, with a payment of two hundred thousand.
Behind this generous reward, there was also a cost.
The employer said that the owner of the photo was very picky and that in order to receive the corresponding payment, it had to be done in a way that would make her 100% satisfied. Chapter 4
