After understanding what I meant, Ethan began to tremble.
He suddenly realized why Anthony and I had been so silent during that period, understanding that we had known all along he wasn’t Logan.
Ethan hurriedly tried to explain: “Aurora, listen to me, this isn’t what you think…”
But his words were cut off by Violet, who stormed in furiously: “Ethan, you shameless bastard! How dare you come looking for Aurora! Didn’t you say you’d take responsibility for me?”
Hearing this voice, Ethan’s eyes filled with despair.
After learning the truth, Violet had become like a different person, constantly despising Ethan and always saying he couldn’t compare to Logan.
When he could no longer bear it, Ethan remembered how
Anthony and I used to wait quietly for him at home, which led to today’s events.
Ethan hadn’t expected Violet to find him, and Anthony and I had no intention of acknowledging him.
In the end, Ethan left with Violet.

Violet and Ethan complained about and despised each other every day.
They had borrowed money from almost every relative just to barely pay off their previous debts.

She mocked Ethan: “After doing such things, you still have the nerve to think you can make amends.”
Ethan couldn’t argue back and could only endure it.
When Violet called him useless, he endured it.

She said: “What does it have to do with me? It was clearly your own fault! I only seduced you a little back then, I never thought you’d still have feelings for me after getting married. Wasn’t faking your death your own idea?”
Ethan’s eyes grew redder and redder, his grip tightening: “Shut up! Shut up!”
When he snapped out of his rage, Violet’s face had already turned blue–purple.
As soon as Ethan loosened his grip, Violet collapsed limply to the ground.
He had strangled Violet to death.
Ethan knew his life was completely ruined.
When the police arrested him and took him to prison, he requested to see Anthony and me, but I refused.
I only had someone deliver a message to him: “It’s such a good thing that you’re Anthony’s uncle. Even if you commit crimes, it won’t affect Anthony.”

be his own.
Anthony and I would live good lives, destined never to walk down the same path as him.
