Chapter 26 Mom and Dad Arrive
“My little loves, How I wish my decisions did not affect you so. Your
mother and I hate that you both are still fighting so hard for something you
deserve.” A huge muscular man said as he entered the seasons. He was the
epitome of light. Hair as white as the moonlight and a dark cloudless night,
his eyes were the color of pearls, with chiseled cheekbones and a cleft chin.
He had muscles bigger than the average person’s head all over his body and
sun-kissed skin that seemed to shimmer with the movements he made. He
was one of the most beautiful men Katia had ever seen. He glided forwards
with arms wide open. He gathered both girls in them and just held them. He
drew in deep breaths of their scents and let them relax in his loving arms.
As the sisters remained in their father’s arms surrounded by his love, a tall
willowy female with long fiery red hair, lime green eyes, came bouncing
into the glade yelling, “Give me my girls, you beast. If you didn’t have to
be the biggest and baddest titan, my babies wouldn’t have these troubles.”
She had sun kissed shimmering skin like their father and was as beautiful as
he. The sisters wondered if all titans were beautiful creatures or just their
parents.
Theia ripped the girls from Hyperion’s arms, smothering them in kisses all
over their heads and faces. “My babies, how it hurts me so to know that
there is nothing we can do to help your circumstances. Your father and I,
two of the most powerful titans and we can only sit back to watch our
babies be tortured endlessly.”
Hyperion sighed, “Now Theia give them some room to breathe. They are
not babies anymore. They are grown goddesses and seem to have figured
out quite a bit over the years.”
A red-faced Theia shouted, “Hyperion shut up! If you had not challenged
your father and went to war with him, our children would not be dealing
with the backlash of your decisions.”
“Woman, I did nothing but imprison my father, Uranus. It was my brother
Cronus who castrated him for his crimes against his children.”
“That is not how he sees it and you know it, Hyperion. He believes all of us
wanted his complete downfall. That is why he is so angry with Zeus’
decision to release us, and the favor shown to us and our children by Zeus
and Hera.” Theia shrilly screamed at him.
Selene quietly tries to soothe the parents, “Mother, Father, it is no use
arguing the why of our circumstances. Katia and I need to keep moving
forward with our plan this time. I know we have a good chance of finally
ending grandpapas revenge.”
Theia gently touched her daughter’s face, “You both are so brave. So many
years you have been fighting to have a chance to experience Zeus’ gift to
you. Look at poor Katia’s body this time around. The injuries are so much
worse than they ever have been for either of you.”
Stepping closer and studying his dark-headed daughter’s scars, Hyperion
agrees. “The torture and abuse have the look of desperation to it.”
Slamming his fist into a tree he bellows, “It is not right my children suffer
because my father knows he cannot beat me. He wishes to destroy me
through my precious children. I should have let Cronus kill him.”
“But father, although this time has been the worse and Katia was found at
so young of an age, we somehow got lucky before she decided to die. I
don’t know if someone somehow helped us or if it is fate, but Titi ended up
in the original pack she was supposed to be in and her fated mate had
scented her. He is with her body in the pack hospital as we speak. His
gamma is moon touched and knows that their new luna is special. He has
not figured out how because she has not regained consciousness yet.”
Selene says, hugging her sister.
“Who is the gamma of this pack? How close is he moon touched?” Both
parents want to know.
Selene smiles, “He is our Kane, Uncle Crius’s son. Although the children of
titans do not possess the same powerful strength, wisdom, and knowledge
of ancient magic and rituals, we do possess some. We are also gifted with
our own powers to help us in our journeys. If Titi returns to the Earth realm,
Kane will know who she is the moment she opens her eyes. He will be her
gamma. Her second gamma. As her original on his way with the rest of her
people, from their new pack, and the two gammas will stop at nothing to
keep their luna safe.”
“Crius son, you say?” Her father asked. “That is a turn of events. No one
knew about Kane except our titan family. At least that is what I thought.
Crius will have been guiding him all these years. I do believe you are
correct daughter, this is as close you two have ever been to ending all this
revenge nonsense with my father.”
Theia mutters quietly to herself something about the jealousy and pride of
men, but looks brightly towards her daughters, “Katia, if you do not wish to
see this time around any further it is understandable. They got to you
young, and you have been broken a multitude of times already. We can give
it sometime and Selene tries again next.”
Shaking, Katia looks at Aza, who has stood up and is licking her girly’s
hands. “It is up to you girly. We can do this, but it is not going to be easy.”
“Wolfie, I am so scared. What if Lili is wrong and this Alpha is not different
than the ones we have known? What if our life is not any different?” Katia
continues to shake from her fear and her father wraps his arms around her
with tears in his eyes.
He stands there holding her and trying to convey all the love he feels for all
his children to her while she and her wolf discuss what to do. He knows that
is what is going on because he can hear their conversation and he is so
proud of the woman and wolf they are. He can feel their fear, but he knows
what decision his daughter will make, and he will do everything in his
power to see that this ends this time. There would be no more torture of his
either of his youngest daughters.
“Okay, Wolfie, let’s go back and if this Alpha plans on torturing and beating
us, then we will take him out before we die. We ensure our kind is safe and
change happens for them.” Katia tells Aza.
To everyone else Katia says, “I will go back. I will have Aza and a cousin to
help me. I want Lili and I to get to experience what we bestow upon our
kind. I want to see the change everyone says I can make because of my
gifts. Most of all, I want grandpapa to see that things must change, or
everything will die.”
Selene hugged Katia so hard that she thought something would break. “Titi,
if this works, I hope my fated mate is close by, and we can live our lives as
sisters in the Earth realm also. I will do what I can to help you there as it is
the realm we work most in, and no one will think anything of me spending
a lot of time there.”
“Meanwhile, your father and I will work to find out who betrayed you from
here. It will keep your father from hopefully starting another war if he has
something to do.” Mama said, arching her brow at dad.
“Okay, okay, I get it. This is all my fault. But before you return, Katia, you
spend tonight with your family. We will dine as a family with your brother
and sister, then watch horror movies like when you were children.”
Hyperion directed.
Aza and Katia jumped shouting, “Oooh, we can watch werewolf movies!”
and took off running towards winter.
