Chapter 8
I opened my phone to see Disney suing Cullen Corporation trending at number one.
Disney felt that Cullen’s choice of spokesperson–Ivy–insulted their animated characters and was preparing to file a lawsuit demanding astronomical breach of contract damages.
The second rapidly climbing trending topic was Ivy’s clarification video.
In the video, she showed lots of evidence of their dates together, proving that Jaxon and I had long been in a loveless marriage, only tied together for corporate interests.
She looked pure and innocent, almost crying, saying that Jaxon and I had already started divorce proceedings.
She also asked netizens not to curse at her–she was Mr. Cullen’s true love, definitely not a mistress, and the baby was their love child.
Sharp–eyed netizens discovered that I had deliberately disguised myself to look like Ivy to do PR for her, and the nasty comments immediately turned toward me.
Ivy even hired internet trolls saying I only cared about profit, and now I was leaving Jaxon because I’d found a richer guy.
Several cautious corporations I’d recently signed with sent termination letters, and Dash hurriedly contacted legal to handle it
Meanwhile, paparazzi caught Jaxon drunk at Cullen Corporation.
He laughed recklessly, “Don’t listen to that woman’s bullshit–Harley’s the one who wanted the divorce. I never agreed. How is Ivy not
a homewrecker?”
A reporter pretended to kindly remind him, “Mr. Cullen, you’re drunk. Without proof, you can’t just say anything…”
Jaxon shook with laughter and pulled out messages Ivy had sent him. The reporters crowded closer.
“Mr. Cullen, I know you love your wife deeply. I don’t ask for status–I only long for a sliver of affection from you.”
“Mr. Cullen, can I get promoted half a level in this year–end review? Your wife is so capable–I can only work hard to catch up, hoping to be one ten–thousandth as helpful to you.”
“Mr. Cullen, you don’t need to feel guilty. You were drunk last night–I was willing.”
“Mr. Cullen, please let me have this baby. I’ll give up being the mother and let you adopt the child.”
The reporters‘ jaws dropped.
This was completely opposite to the elite businesswoman image Ivy had crafted!
All these years, with Jaxon’s support, she’d rapidly climbed from intern to marketing director.
Outsiders didn’t know the truth and praised her for being independent and self–reliant.
But who knew that privately, she had such a fawning, seductive face!
Ivy screamed and kicked off her heels, running over frantically.
“How much! These videos, recording equipment–I’ll buy it all! Don’t leak a single word!”

Chapter 8
The reporter looked regretful, “Miss Ivy, this is live…”
Ivy broke down crying and turned to pummel Jaxon.
“Mr. Cullen, how did you become like this! Even in front of Harley Sinclair, you never used to hurt me!”
“How many tears have I cried for you! I love you ten thousand times more than Harley Sinclair!”
“You even said if I was good, you’d consider marrying me… Why, why did you change your mind!”
But the woman’s devotion couldn’t earn a shred of the man’s pity.
Jaxon grabbed the woman’s chin, a mocking smile on his lips:
“Marry you? That was just pillow talk–you didn’t actually believe it, did you?”
Ivy went crazy, “If you won’t marry me, what about the baby? How am I worse than Harley Sinclair?”
The man disgustedly let go, “You think you can compare to Harley! This baby was your scheme, and it’s what broke up Harley and me. Go get an abortion tomorrow!”
With that, Jaxon dragged the desperately crying Ivy out of the company.
